# How to contribute

If you want to contribute to this document, please follow these steps:

**1.** **Start and save your own draft**. To do this, you just have to modify the document. As soon as you start typing, a draft will be created. You will find it on the menu on your left, under the heading “Edits->Drafts".

If you want to comment on existing guidelines, you can add comments to the text, as showed in Fig. 2.

When you are done, describe your changes and save them using the green button showed in Fig. 1. **PLEASE DO NOT MERGE**.

2\. Ask the maintainers of this document to review your changes. They will comment on them, require modification and, when they are satisfied, they will merge them. 

Note that your comments on anyone else's draft are always welcome. You can view and comment them by selecting them under the Drafts menu.
